7 More Guests Announced for Baltimore Comic-Con

The 25th anniversary Baltimore Comic-Con will be held this weekend on Friday through Sunday, September 20-22, 2024. Baltimore Comic-Con is still announcing guests, including Guy Dorian Sr. (courtesy of Comics & Gaming), Ron Randall, Stuart Sayger, Paul D. Storrie, Brenna Thummler (courtesy of Third Eye Comics), Peter Tomasi, and Robert Venditi.
Dorian has spent over 30 years as a comic artist, toy designer, and film industry art designer. He has worked with DC, Marvel, IDW, 20th Century Fox, Marvel Entertainment, and Storm King Productions. In comics, he has worked on The New Warriors, Marvel Comics Presents, Night Thrasher, ROM, John Carpenter’s Hyperbreed, G.I. Joe, and he co-created the character Scorch. In the ‘90s, he designed “Bend ‘Ems” toys for the pro wrestlers Bret Hard, Randy Savage, Shawn Michaels, and the Undertaker. He worked on the X-Men: Apocalypse movie posters, character development for the Silver Surfer cartoon series, and his upcoming comic and toys are Mounties vs. Werewolves with Larry Hama.
Randall is the creator-writer-artist for the sci-fi comic series Trekker, featuring bounty hunter Mercy St. Clair. He started his professional career at DC in Unknown Soldier, followed by stories in Sgt. Rock, The Warlord, Arak, Son of Thunder, and Swamp Thing. He has worked with DC, Marvel, Dark Horse, and others on Supergirl, Star Wars, Venom, Predator, and Justice League.
Sayger broke into comics by creating and producing Shiver in the Dark. His art has appeared on the covers of G.I. Joe, Dejah Thoris, Jeepers Creepers, Vampirella, KISS, and Bloodshot. He has also provided art for The Walking Dead, X-Files, 30 Days of Night, Xena Warrior Princess, Micronauts, and Rom.
Storrie started writing comics professionally in 1998 with Robyn of Sherwood at Caliber Comics. He has written comics for multiple publishers, including Harley Quinn & the Gotham Girls, Star Trek Alien Spotlight: Andorians, and The Viking Queen. His recent work includes the John Carpenter Presents Storm Kids: Stanley’s Ghost one-shot.
Thummler studied at Ringling College of Art and Design and is the artist and writer behind the ghost story comic, Sheets.
Tomasi is a writer and editor best known for his work at DC Comics. He began his career editing Green Lantern, Batman, Aquaman, Hawkman, and JSA before becoming a Senior Editor. Later, Tomasi moved from editing to writing full-time and took over Batman and Robin with issue 20. He helmed new volumes of Batman and Robin, Green Lantern Corps, and JSA. He is the author of creator-owned titles like House of Penance, Light Brigade, The Mighty, Blood Tree, and The Bridge: How the Roeblings Connected Brooklyn to New York.
Venditti is a New York Times bestselling author whose characters and concepts have been adapted to film and television. He has written the monthly comic book series X-O Manowar for Valiant Entertainment, Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps, Green Lantern, and The Flash for DC Comics, and the children’s novel series Miles Taylor and the Golden Cape for Simon & Schuster. His current projects include Justice League, Hawkman, and the Vertigo graphic novel Six Days, inspired by the story of his uncle’s participation in D-Day.
