Palmiotti Launches Triggergirl 6: Justice on Kickstarter

Jimmy Palmiotti’s Triggergirl 6: Justice Kickstarter project has launched and the campaign exceeded its initial funding goal in a day.

The crowdfunding effort teams the writer with frequent collaborators artists Juan Santacruz (The Resistance) and Amanda Conner (Harley Quinn), and designer John J. Hill (Painkiller Jane) to return the character from the pages of the original Triggergirl 6 graphic novel.

The story starts with action. As Triggergirl 6 breaks up a ring of rare animal smugglers, the organization she works for realizes she needs some downtime and sends her away on a vacation. Of course, if that worked out as planned it might not make for a great comic book, but things go awry as an assassin attempts to take her out.

The story spans a few weeks and takes the character from the Canadian Rockies all the way south to the Florida Keys. Along the way, some of Triggergirl 6’s secrets are revealed. 

This adult-oriented (meaning not for kids) two-issue series is offered with a choice of covers by Conner, Ryan Sook, Dave Johnson, Adam Hughes, and Joseph Michael Linsner.
