Jaime Reyes Becomes a Hero in Final Blue Beetle Trailer

Jaime Reyes was just looking for a new job opportunity when his life changed forever, and now he must become a hero to save his family in the final trailer for Blue Beetle.

The first trailer established Jaime (Xolo Maridueña) as a young man seeking a better job when he comes into possession of the Scarab, which chooses him to become the Blue Beetle. The lengthy final trailer shows Jaime attempting to harness the power of the Blue Beetle and learning about its frightening capabilities.

That’s about the time that Victoria Kord (Susan Sarandon) shows up in pursuit of the Scarab, and she’s willing to go to great lengths – including putting his family in danger and unleashing Conrad Carapax, aka the Indestructible Man (Raoul Max Trujillo) – to get what she wants.

Directed by Angel Manuel Soto (Charm City Kings), the movie also stars George Lopez, Belissa Escobedo, Becky G, Bruna Marquezine, Damián Alcázar, Elpidia Carrillo, Harvey Guillén, and Adriana Barraza.

Blue Beetle arrives in theaters on August 18, 2023.
