Marvel Announces Comic-Con 2023 Schedule

Marvel is returning to San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday through Sunday, July 20-23, 2023, with panels, exclusive announcements, signings, and more at their booth #2329 and the Official Marvel Store booth #2519.
They will host two panels on Thursday, July 20, starting with “Designing the X-Men: A This Week in Marvel Special Event” from 4 PM to 5 PM in room 7AB. Marvel VP & Creative Executive Ryan Penagos will host a live edition of the This Week in Marvel podcast with Senior Editor Jordan D. White, and others to discuss the creative process behind the modern era of the X-Men.
“Marvel and Proko Teach ‘The Art of Storytelling’” will be held Thursday from 5 PM to 6 PM in room 11. Industry veterans will share their expertise on creating stories, developing characters, and visual storytelling.
They will host three panels on Friday, July 21, starting with “Marvel: Heroes, Hulks, and Super-Soldiers” from 3 PM to 4 PM in room 6DE. Marvel Editor in Chief C.B. Cebulski is leading the panel with topics including J. Michael Straczynski’s Captain America, David Pepose’s Moon Knight: City of the Dead, and Phillip Kennedy Johnson’s Hulk.
“Marvel Fanfare with C.B. Cebulski” takes place at 4:15 PM to 5:15 PM in room 6DE. Cebulski will be joined by former Marvel Editor in Chief Joe Quesada for a conversation all about Marvel, and attendees will receive an exclusive giveaway comic.
“Marvel Multiverse Roleplaying Game Live Play with Glass Cannon Network” will be held from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Omni Hotel in the Omni Grand Ballroom ABC, fourth floor. Glass Cannon Network’s roleplaying style will see gamemaster Troy Lavallee and others creating a superhero story.
On Saturday, July 22, “Marvel: Next Big Thing” is scheduled for 3 PM to 4 PM in room 6A. Cebulski, Executive Editor Nick Lowe, and others will be there to discuss what’s to come at Marvel, including Spider-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, and new Ultimate Universe.
Their final panel on Sunday, July 23 is “Women of Marvel” from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM in room 6A. Editor Sarah Brunstad, Ms. Marvel executive producer Sana Amanat, and others will discuss their experiences as women working at Marvel and the publisher’s female-led projects.
