Night Walkers is a monster attack story in which our protagonists are average people, not soldiers or survivalists. Written by Cullen Bunn, the first issue introduces a group of people living their hardest days when something even worse happens. Can they muster the strength to survive the monster, which could be seen as a metaphor for addiction? That is how the first issue sets up what is poised to be a good horror series.

The book is brought to life by Joe Bocardo’s art and Colin Johnson’s colors, which shows the dreariness and isolation of being in rehab, then dramatically shifts to horror mode, illustrating the terror of the situation.
