Metropolis to Attend TorpedoCon, SDCC

Vincent Zurzolo, co-owner of Metropolis Collectibles and the auction house ComicConnect, is heading to Los Angeles for this year’s TorpedoCon 2023. The convention is scheduled for July 15-16, 2023, at the Hilton Los Angeles North/Glendale Executive Meeting Center in Glendale, CA. Zurzolo will be buying collections and accepting consignments for his next big auction.
“I have relatives on the West Coast, so I always cherish my visits,” Zurzolo said. “Southern California is overflowing with passionate collectors and the Torpedo Con is a perfect setting to forge new business relationships while meeting friends both old and new.”
Zurzolo said he is seeking to purchase collections including comics, original comic art, pulps, video games and tapes. “Plus, our ComicConnect team will be there to assist with any consignments and cash advances towards our next big auction,” he added. “Stop by for a free offer!”

After Torpedo, Zurzolo and the Metropolis team will head to San Diego for Comic-Con International on July 19-23.
