Cthulhu’s Back in New Comic at Titan

Titan is taking a swim with one of H.P. Lovecraft’s greatest creations in A Call to Cthulhu. The book is part of Titan’s new young adult imprint, Titan Nova, and will be in comic shops in October 2023.
“Even Cosmic Gods fear an unknown caller! When Cthulhu, the Great Old One, receives a phone call in the middle of the night, he is not prepared for the conversation that is about to take place,” the description reads.
Part comic, part art book, and part children’s storybook, A Call to Cthulhu is written and illustrated by Norm Konyu (creator of The Junction, senior animator on Hey Duggee).
“I’m really excited to get A Call to Cthulhu out to a wider audience with the help of Titan Comics,” Konyu said. “H.P. Lovecraft was a bit of a serious soul. So, after rediscovering his material many, many years after originally reading it, I had an enjoyable experience cooking his Cthulhu Mythos and other tales into an irreverent, pseudo-storybook. I hope readers enjoy the experience just as much!”
A Call to Cthulhu is a 48-page book that retails for $12.99. It will arrive in comic shops on sale October 10.
