Sins of the Salton Sea #1 by writer Ed Brisson and artist C.P. Smith pulls the reader in very quickly. Despite being thieves, both Wyatt and Jasper come off as likeable guys and there’s clearly a lot unsaid about their history. The first issue provokes multiple questions about the brothers and the identities of the people in the back of that van. It also ends with a nice hook that will definitely have this reviewer return for the second issue.
