115 years ago June 15, 1908 Scottish cartoonist David Law is born. Working as “Davey” Law, he is best known for creating Beryl the Peril and (a different) Dennis the Menace for DC Thomson.

110 years ago June 14, 1913 Writer, artist, and animator Ed Nofziger is born. He draws Mister Magoo for UPA, creates the character Mother Magoo, and produces Hanna-Barbera comic strips and stories. He creates the Sir Lim’rick strip.

105 years ago June 10, 1918 Belgian Smurfs publisher Charles Dupuis is born. He takes over Dupuis Publishing with other family members after his father Jean Dupuis dies in 1952.
