The Silver Age of comics was an incredibly fruitful period that introduced several of the industry’s best characters and reinvigorated the greatest of the Golden Age. For 1980’s Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide #10, Robert M. Overstreet researched the best Silver Age comics to compile a list of the 20 Most Valuable Books. Of interesting note: Marvel dominates the top 10, some current staples aren’t included, and nary a book is listed for over $1,000.
