Marvel; $3.99

After her latest outing with the Avengers, Jennifer Walters decided to return to civilian life. She was working with Mallory Book again and living in a penthouse owned by Janet Van Dyne when the presumed dead Jack of Hearts came crashing back into her life.

Once the shock of seeing Jack wears off, She-Hulk starts questioning him about where he’s been and how he’s still alive. As Jack tells her what he remembers, She-Hulk observes his strange behavior and tries to figure out the best way to help him.

So far, the new She-Hulk is really good. Rainbow Rowell is writing a slice of life story about Jen reintegrating with society, adding some cute touches as She-Hulk traverses the city in her best suit. At the same time, this issue introduced a mystery for her to investigate, along with the promise of a new threat. The art by Rogê Antônio and colors by Rico Renzi establish the light, optimistic tone with funny panels, emotional moments, and bright, beautiful colors.

Two issues in and She-Hulk is a smash hit!
