Inside the Guide: Christmas Movie Posters
Share:
Since the 1930s Christmas movies have become a traditional part of enjoying the holiday season with annual viewings of our favorites. Some enjoy the classics like It’s a Wonderful Life and Miracle on 34th Street, musicals like White Christmas, or animated favorites like A Charlie Brown Christmas and How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Viewers favor the comedy gems in Christmas Vacation and The Santa Claus, edgy R-rated hits like Bad Santa and Bad Moms Christmas, or even horror flicks such as Black Christmas and Krampus.
Many of these movies from the family-friendly to the more mature were advertised prior to their release by memorable movie posters. Ranging from the vintage painted artwork to the photo-based imagery, they are favored among movie poster collectors.
