Marvel; $3.99

A gang war was ready to break out between the Owl and the Librises, though Hell’s Kitchen is on fire for another reason entirely – the interference of the Stromwyns. With the rich siblings having paid off emergency services to be completely non-responsive and having hired a gang of villains (including Bullseye, the Rhino, and others) to create chaos, the situation becomes very dire very quickly. Matt Murdock quickly comes to realize what Daredevil means to his home – that Daredevil has become a symbol and was far more than just a local hero.

The “Inferno” arc, which begins with this issue, is clearly the culmination of everything that came before it. The creative team has spent so much time setting up this conflict between the various forces trying to control the Kitchen, and it boils down to what Daredevil himself will be willing to do to save it. Daredevil has been a wild ride throughout this run and I can’t wait to see how this all resolves.
