A lot of debating happened in this issue of Pandemica. A lot.

After taking down the Ark facility, De’Neesa and Chick meet a scientist who explains why they are holding children captive, including one named Lucky Bunny. This particular child has been hit with every pathogen they have and is still, shockingly, alive, but could also be highly dangerous. This launches De and Chick into a debate about what is the better course of action – trying to save the child or killing her so she can’t spread any known or new pathogens.

Jonathan Maberry went deep into the gray areas and complicated mess that is Pandemica. De and Chick argue over what is right versus what is humane, Dr. Katz and his team are trying to decide if they should even keep fighting considering how dire the situation has become, and even the monsters behind Ark are dealing with the fallout that their racist plan isn’t working.

Given where the story is, there’s a lot to unpack in the final issue of the miniseries. It should be quite eventful.
