In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Beatles’ Yellow Submarine animated feature, Titan Comics had released a fully authorized graphic novel adaptation. The underwater paradise of Pepperland is brought to life in striking psychedelic technicolor by the creative team of writer-artist Bill Morrison, inker Andrew Pepoy, colorist Nathan Kane, and letter Aditya Bidikar.

Once a music-loving utopia, Pepperland has been overrun by the music-hating Blue Meanies and their leader, Chief Blue Meanie. By dropping apples on the residents of Pepperland, the Blue Meanies transform the peaceful people into living statues. To make matter’s worse, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band have been imprisoned inside a soundproof blue glass globe.

With Pepperlands guardians locked up, and every musical instrument confiscated, the mayor enlists Young Fred to search for help from the fabled Yellow Submarine. The aging sailor makes the journey to Liverpool and stumbles across The Beatles, who graciously agree to help save Pepperland. Through the power of music and love, and the help of Jeremy The Nowhere Man, can they overthrow the evil Blue Meanies? Grab your copy and find out!
