Haley Mancini and Jake Goldman have written a cute introduction to this new Powerpuff Girls story. It looks like this series will focus more on the villains than on Buttercup, Blossom, and Bubbles, but it’s silly, it’s cute, it’s manic – the basic ingredients needed for a PPG adventure.

Philip Murphy and Leonardo Ito did a great job on the art and colors, respectively. The character likenesses are rendered well, appearing just like they do in the cartoons. The colors are eye candy, popping vividly on each panel.
