Max Reveals First Footage of Peacemaker Season 2

Peacemaker and his team are together and ready for whatever comes their way in the first footage for Peacemaker season two. Max dropped a two-minute sizzle reel with a quick look at the shows arriving on the streamer in 2025, including Peacemaker.

The clip shows Christopher Smith/Peacemaker (John Cena) with Emilia Harcourt (Jennifer Holland), John Economos (Steve Agee), Leota Adebayo (Danielle Brooks), and Adrian Chase/Vigilante (Freddie Stroma) sitting around the table. As Peacemaker toasts them, Cena provides a voiceover, stating “No matter how far away we are from each other, no one will ever break us apart.” That warm and fuzzy moment is joined by one of a bar fight in which Peacemaker stabs someone in the throat.

It also gives the first look at Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr., the father of Task Force X leader Rick Flag who Peacemaker killed in The Suicide Squad. Grillo will debut the character in the animated series Creature Commandos, which arrives on Max on December 5, 2024. He’ll also appear in Superman, which is set for theatrical release on July 11, 2025.

Peacemaker season two will start streaming in the second half of 2025

The sizzle reel also includes footage from Dune: Prophecy, The Last of Us, Welcome to Derry (the It prequel), and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (a Game of Thrones spinoff).
