ComicConnect Previews Event Auction 60

ComicConnect is still adding rarities and taking consignments for Event Auction 60, while the Fall Mega Monthly Auction runs through Wednesday, November 13, 2024.

Event Auction 60 features original art alongside vintage comics from across comic ages, including Batman #1, a scarce Detective Comics #1, and Captain Marvel’s debut in Whiz Comics. The new additions are Action Comics #1 restored 9.0, plus early Superman adventures with Action Comics #10 and Superman #8. Mystery Men #15 and Jungle Comics #11 have also been brought in amongst high grade rarities from the Mile High Collection.

Alex Schomburg goes to war in Marvel Mystery Comics #47 and #63 and L.B. Cole’s cover for Mask #1 are among the Golden Age listings. Silver Age keys are Fantastic Four #1 and Amazing Fantasy #15, and Bronze Age keys include Amazing Spider-Man #129 9.8 with the first appearance of The Punisher, Incredible Hulk #181 presents Wolverine’s debut, and he sees his first solo title in Wolverine #1 9.9.
