The longform tribute to artist Tim Sale continues with Klaus Janson taking over the art duties for the second issue of the series.
With plenty of distractions from the Mad Hatter, Calendar Man, and Catwoman, and with a special focus on the Penguin, Janson and writer Jeph Loeb take readers on a rollercoaster ride as Batman searches for Commissioner Gordon’s kidnapped son.
Excellent storytelling, dramatic shots, and an unfolding mystery. This is a great read for Batman fans.
Two issues down, and two homeruns. I’ll be here in 30 days for the next one.
