One Piece Casts Katey Sagal, Mark Harelik

Doctors are seeing patients on Drum Island! The live-action One Piece series has cast Sons of Anarchy star Katey Sagal as Dr. Kureha and Presumed Innocent star Mark Harelik as Dr. Hiriluk for season two.

One Piece is an adaptation of the manga by Eiichiro Oda, following Monkey D. Luffy and his band of pirates. They embark on adventures across vast oceans and exotic islands to find the treasure known as “One Piece” so that Luffy can become the Pirate King.

Dr. Kureha is one of the most anticipated characters to be added to season two. She is a doctor on Drum Island, the head of the Isshi-100, and an ally of the Straw Hat Pirates. Dr. Hiriluk is a former thief who became a doctor on Drum Island.

Sagal and Harelik are the latest in a string of new cast members joining One Piece season two. Other recent announcements are Callum Kerr as Smoker, Julia Rehwald as Tashigi, David Dastmalchian as Mr. 3, Camrus Johnson as Mr. 5, Daniel Lasker as Mr. 9, Jazzara Jaslyn as Miss Valentine, Brendan Sean Murray as Brogy, Werner Coetser as Dorry, Clive Russel as Crocus, Rob Colletti as Wapol, and Ty Keogh as Dalton.

Season one stars returning include Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Emily Rudd as Nami, Mackenyu as Zoro, Jacob Romero as Usopp, Jeff Ward as Buggy, Taz Skylar as Sanji, Ilia Isorelys Paulino as Alvida, and Michael Dorman as Gold Roger.

One Piece season two is currently filming in Cape Town, South Africa and is expected to stream on Netflix in 2025.
