Trio of eMoviePoster Auctions Total $711K

eMoviePoster held three auctions in late July and early August 2024, including their August Major Auction. They offered US and international posters, lobby cards, and more for a total of $711,103.

The Tuesday, July 30 auction contained 1,656 US and international posters, lobby cards, stills, and more for $134,311. Three surprising results were an English Capricorn One one-sheet for $1,738, a Devil Is A Woman lobby card for $1,687, and Help world premiere English program for $779.

The auction that closed on Thursday, August 1 was filled with 1,000 movie and non-movie posters, realizing $83,189. Three top sales were a Killer Klowns From Outer Space one-sheet for $1,373, an Italian Big Heat locandina for $1,250, and a United Air Lines Pacific Northwest travel poster for $825.

The August Major Auction closed Sunday, August 4, with 872 movie posters and related items selling for $493,603. Three notable results were A Dog’s Life linen-backed one-sheet for $41,000, Son of the Sheik linen-backed one-sheet for $33,000, and It’s A Wonderful Life linen-backed one-sheet for $14,000.

eMoviePoster is now accepting consignments for their 25th Annual Halloween Auction which starts October 6, and the December Major Auction that begins on December 1. They have already consigned a number of items to both, and the first previews are available.
