TWD: The Ones Who Live Preview Special

While Usher was running through his catalog of hits during the Super Bowl half-time show, The Walking Dead presented a preview special on their latest spinoff series, The Ones Who Live.

The nearly 10-minute video begins with behind the scenes content as stars Andrew Lincoln, Danai Gurira, and Pollyanna McIntosh, showrunner Scott M. Gimple, and executive producer Denise Huth discuss where Rick and Michonne have been, the power of their relationship, and the strength of the Civic Republic Military (CRM).

A trailer follows, catching up with Rick, who is being held captive by CRM, and Michonne, who is still on the road trying to find him. It previews CRM’s strength, their numbers, and ambition, as both Rick and Michonne, naturally, fight against another regime that wants to rule the world.

The six-episode series premieres on AMC and AMC+ on February 25, 2024. Lincoln, Gurira, Gimple, Huth, and Brian Bockrath (The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon) are executive producing The Ones Who Live. The series also stars Terry O’Quinn as Major General Beale, Matthew Jeffers as Nat, and Lesley-Ann Brandt as Pearl Thorne.

AMC also announced TWD: The Ones Who Live Cast Diaries bonus episodes that will include exclusive cast and creator interviews. They will arrive on Thursdays every week of the series, starting on February 29, and will exclusively run on AMC+.
