Conner & Palmiotti Launch The Hunters on Kickstarter

The Paperfilms team of Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti are launching their next Kickstarter campaign with the post-Civil War graphic novel, The Hunters. This marks their 23rd crowdfunding campaign and will reunite the creative team behind Harley Quinn’s popular run that kicked off in 2013.

The Hunters introduces the husband and wife duo of former bounty hunter Allister Hunter and sharp shooter Katie Hunter. With a plan to retire in San Francisco, the pair are heading west when Katie witness a young man being tortured. The situation gets worse when Katie is attacked, and they learn about a crazy preacher who has hired bounty hunters and killers to bring people to him.

The comic brings together the Harley Quinn team with a story by Palmiotti, art by Chad Hardin, Conner, and Alex Sinclair, and designs and lettering by John H. Hill. The 38-page adult-themed graphic novel features covers by Bill Sienkiewicz, Conner, and Hardin.

The campaign opens for backing on October 18, 2023 and runs for 30 days. Tier options include digital and physical copies, signed editions, limited printing versions, original commission art, and more.
