Disney Villains Maleficent is written and illustrated by Soo Lee. Primarily known as an artist, Lee keeps the dialogue tight and puts the focus on setting the mood for the story. The shadows are deep, provoking mystery, while other threats are sharply in focus to menace the young prince. Lee establishes a setting of isolation in the big bad woods and is making Maleficent appear very imposing and dangerous.
