Things are getting messier and messier in Army of Darkness vs Re-Animator Necronomicon Rising. First Ash Williams and Constance Wyrdie were plunged through a time portal to an unknown location. Just as they are trying to plan their next move, Herbert West and his creepy little friend are sent to the same location.

The plot thickens in this issue with Ash and Herbert finally coming head to head with the Necronomicon in the middle. Writer Erik Burnham is providing the humor and a popcorn horror movie story while artist Eman Cassallos and colorist Jorge Sutil gives readers the bold and gory art. It’s a fun late summer/early Halloween season read for fans of the horror franchises.
