Ugras, the man who hired Joanna to place a gun in prison, is dead and the one who killed him has already racked up a body count of 29 since he broke out of jail using her gun. Because of her part in his spree, Joanna has been ordered to work with Agent Barrow to find the unnamed man or face many years in jail for her crimes.

Joanna reluctantly takes Barrow to see some of her contacts in this new issue by Charles Ardai. It maintains the hard edge of the first two issues, adding in an investigation, a few gun fights, and a thickening plot.

My one complaint is the inequality where nudity is concerned. Female nudity should not be gratuitously used while the naked male character is left conveniently shadowed. It leaves the lead character objectified rather than empowered.

Other than that, Gun Honey has been really good for any fan of crime stories with tough characters.
