Writers Kyle Higgins and Mat Groom and artist Francesco Manna bring us the Marvelization of a Japanese TV icon in The Rise of Ultraman #1, the first of a five-issue miniseries.
It’s an entertaining and exciting read accompanied by several back-up and side stories, all of which contribute to making the issue very intriguing. There are multiple variant covers, though the Alex Ross-illustrated main cover definitely seems to be grabbing the attention of many readers.
