The A-Force miniseries comes to an end with living versus the dead in issue five. Loki broke the shield that separated Arcadia and the dead have come for some destruction. A-Force assembles for an epic battle, led by She-Hulk, Dazzler, Captain Marvel, Nico, and their mysterious friend from the stars. Before this battle is through one of them will offer a significant sacrifice to save the others.

Issue five wrapped the story up very nicely with an exciting fight and hope for the future. Written by Marguerite Bennett and G. Willow Wilson, it had action and emotional depth which anchored the stakes for the outcome of this fight, but also used comic relief and pop culture references to lighten the mood and prove just how tough these ladies are. The Jorge Molina’s art added depth and intensity through precision and complex style. The colors by Laura Martin are nothing short of gorgeous, encasing the energy of the action and the dreaminess of Singularity.
