The Bronze Age and somewhat more recent incarnations of The Lone Ranger, Zorro, Popeye, Son of Tomahawk, The Jungle Twins, Brothers of the Spear, and Flash Gordon get the spotlight in the latest edition of Michael Eury’s Back Issue.

Since I’ve mostly given up trying to find inventive ways to time and again say how great this magazine is, I’ll just stick with the facts on this one: Back Issue #138 is packed with insights into titles that were cult favorites, ones almost never on the top sales lists, and as such there’s a tremendous amount for most of us to learn from this one.
