The Basilisk limited series comes to an end in issue 12. Hannah is finally getting her face to face confrontation with Vanessa, and while that’s happening, Regan learns the origin of the chimera.
For the last issue, writer Cullen Bunn delivered the big fight scene, but did not sit on the violence alone. Things get existential for both Hannah and Regan with each woman contemplating life and existence regardless of who’s left standing at the end. The creative team provided a satisfying conclusion that is somehow both hopeful and somber.
