This military horror story follows Dana Atkinson, a former army investigator who was dishonorably discharged, as she ends up back in the Middle East after a group of American oil technicians disappears. Once she arrives in Iraq, she discovers that the motives behind these disappearances – and the severely mutilated states of the bodies she finds – are more mysterious than she could have thought.

The writing by Michael Moreci and Tim Daniel gives readers just a small taste of what’s really happening in this first issue, leaving the audience hooked on the unusual circumstances. The art by Colin Lorimer makes great use of shadows to establish the dark tone of the story itself. We look forward to seeing what happens in this new miniseries.
