CGC Signings with Frank Miller, Roy Thomas, Chris Claremont, Others

The CGC Signature Series is hosting an exclusive private signing to celebrate Wolverine’s 50th anniversary in comics. Wolverine co-creator Roy Thomas, Frank Miller, Chris Claremont, Joe Rubinstein, Glynis Oliver-Marsh, and Tom Orzechowski have all signed on for the private signing event.

Miller is well known for The Dark Knight Returns, 300, and DaredevilUncanny X-Men and The AvengersX-Men stories including The Dark Phoenix Saga and Days of Future PastInfinity Gauntlet and MicronautsAmazing Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, and Uncanny X-MenUncanny X-Men and runs of New Mutants and Wolverine.

All of these creators have worked on Wolverine comics and most worked together on the Wolverine limited series. CGC will offer many signature options and combinations, along with remarque and sketch options.

The price for individuals is $90 for Claremont, $140 for Miller, $85 for Rubinstein, $90 for Orzechowski, $75 for Oliver-Marsh, and $110 for Thomas. A book signed by all six creators is $290. There are multiple combinations available as well.

For this exclusive signing, both free and paid CGC members can submit books directly to the CGC headquarters in Sarasota, Florida. CGC must receive all submissions by Friday, April 19, 2024.

If the private signings need to be rescheduled, CGC will securely store submissions until they can be rescheduled.

After the books are signed, CGC will grade and encapsulate them with expedited turnaround of six weeks for grading or eight weeks for pressing. Then collectibles will be shipped back to the owners.  

All the CGC private signing options for the Wolverine 50th anniversary signing will include the expedited turnaround times and encapsulation with CGC’s yellow Signature Series label and CCS pressing (for an additional $20 fee).
