ComicConnect is still in the midst of Event Auction 61, featuring vintage comics, original art, rare pulps, and memorabilia – plus a selection of high grade Golden Age keys from the top of the CGC Census.

Event Auction 61 contains colorful early Batman books and Superman comics that offer all the impact of when these issues first hit the newsstands. Villains also get their due with the Joker front and center in a series of high grade Detective Comics. Other pop culture items include Charles Biro’s art in rare Zip Comics, plus Charles Quinlan’s beloved cover for the scarce Catman Comics #15 and WWII era art from Alex Schomburg. 

There’s also a rare Police Comics #73 8.5 with a classic Plastic Man tale, which is one of only four copies on the CGC Census. Comics history is preserved in All-Negro Comics #1, alongside the pioneering hero Fantom of the Fair in Amazing Mystery Funnies #7 9.4. The high grade books continue into the Silver Age with Amazing Spider-Man #1 9.4 and early X-Men issues.
