ComicConnect’s Fall Mega Monthly Auction featuring the Mike Ploog Collection has been extended with bidding now happening through December 13-15, 2024.

Mike Ploog is well known for his Marvel Bronze Age Monsters, defining the look of a new breed of dark heroes such as Ghost Rider, Werewolf By Night, and Man-Thing. This Mega Monthly Auction offers a selection of classic Ploog from the CGC Signature Series, plus rare foreign books showcasing his art.

There’s also classic pre-Code creepiness via the Mega Monthly’s EC books from Johnny Craig’s subway ride for Vault of Horror #30 to Wally Wood’s wild cover for Weird Science #21, along with the heroics of Moon Girl #2. Silver Age finds include Hawkman #1, Avengers #2, and Daredevil #2.

The Bronze Age keys include Morbius’ debut in Amazing Spider-Man #101, plus the origin of Spider-Man’s black suit in Secret Wars #8 and the Punisher’s start in a French-Canadian edition of Amazing Spider-Man #129.
