Curiosity gets the better of the time travelers and they venture into the basement where they find one of the Doctor’s greatest enemies: the Cybermen! In the second issue, the Doctor has learned something very important about what’s happening in the last mall on Earth – and it’s truly monstrous.
The creative team of writer Dan Watters, artist Kelsey Ramsay, and colorist Valentina Bianconi are doing a great job of bringing the Fifteenth Doctor and Ruby Sunday to life. The characters have the optimism that breathed new life into the TV show and the bravery to match. The story is vintage Doctor Who as he tries to find a solution to their dilemma and protect the frightened people around him.
