Titan; $3.99

In Doctor Who the Tenth Doctor #6 the Doctor and his companion Gabby end up in a place they did not intend to visit. As this is a common occurrence for the traveling Time Lord he is not worried in the least until bombs start dropping around them. The Doctor quickly realizes they have landed in the middle of World War I. So what could be worse than ending up in the midst of a war? Perhaps ending up in the midst of a war with one of the Doctor’s most terrifying foes.

Daniel Indro’s rough, yet sharp art brings to life the despair of war and terrifying, monstrous snarl of the Weeping Angels. The story focuses more on humanizing the soldiers than on the Doctor and Gabby’s predicament, which means the next issue will hopefully make use of this groundwork with a bit more action. The story was written by Robbie Morrison, with art by Indro and colors by Slamet Mujiono.
