
Don McGregor to Appear at Ithacon
Comic writer and artist Don McGregor, who is well known for his work on Black Panther, will appear at Ithacon 48. This is his first appearance at the long-running convention, which is held at Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY.
McGregor has written for Zorro and Killraven, and he created or co-created characters and series like Detectives, Inc., Lady Rawhide, Ragamuffins, and Nathanial Dusk. He’s written for James Bond to Batman, and created the series, Sabre. Outside of comics, McGregor has written prose books like Dragonflame and Other Bedtime Nightmares and The Variable Syndrome.
“Don McGregor is the real deal. He has passion and talent, creativity and kindness,” Ithacon’s Ed Catto said. “It was amazing to see the fans turn out at San Diego Comic-Con this past summer when he was awarded an Eisner Lifetime Achievement Award and an Ink Pot Award. I can’t wait for all the fans to meet him at Ithacon 48 this April.”
