Writers Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson and artist Dev Pramanik continue their exploration of the worlds and characters of Frank Herbert’s popular Dune series in Dune: House Atreides #3 (of a scheduled 12-issue mini-series). The intrigue, the awe, and scope of the books (and both the original film and the upcoming movie) are all in this one as Leto Atreides is introduced to the city of Ix and planetologist Pardot Kynes journeys into the plains of Dune.
It will be truly interesting to see if Brian Herbert (Frank’s son) and Anderson can continue with the compelling pace they’ve established thus far in this series and replicate the success of their Dune prequel novels. So far, so good.
