Aziraphale and Crowley are back together on a new adventure of biblical proportions in the first trailer for Good Omens season two.
Based on the novel by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, Good Omens stars Aziraphale (Michael Sheen), an angel who enjoys the finer things in life, and Crowley (David Tennant), a naughty, surly demon. Despite being on opposite sides of the good-evil dichotomy, the two become friends and work together to stop the world from coming to its end.
The first season covered the entire story told in the book, and it was announced that the second season would feature a new arc. The trailer begins with the angel and demon reuniting, then the news drops: the archangel Gabriel (Jon Hamm) is missing and believed to be on Earth. That’s when Aziraphale reveals to Crowley that Gabriel is at his book shop and the two decide to hide him from Heaven, Hell, or anyone else that is looking for him.
Good Omens also stars Miranda Richardson, Gloria Obianyo, Nina Sosanya, and Maggie Service.
Season two will start streaming on Amazon Prime on July 28, 2023.
