In Green Hornet #1, new and returning readers are reintroduced to Britt Reid, the owner of The Daily Sentinel, who is also the superhero Green Hornet and his sidekick Kato. But since Reid is a tough journalist, he has just as many enemies as his masked counterpart. When one of the paper’s employees goes missing, Britt and Kato start investigating and find themselves in a pretty dangerous predicament.  

Green Hornet is off to a solid start. Scott Lobdell has laid the groundwork for multiple story threads and already teased an exciting battle for our heroes. It’s written in a vintage detective story format, which is made even more fun by the classic style art by Anthony Marques and J. Bone. Green Hornet #1 opens things with a fair amount of intrigue and it’s worth checking out.
