Green Hornet/Miss Fury #4
Dynamite; $4.99
The last issue ended with Miss Fury learning the devastating news that Silver Shrike was not only alive, but was the one killing other heroes. Meanwhile, misunderstandings and recklessness put Green Hornet in a fight against his best friend Kato. The issue only gets more intense from there as Miss Fury battles a powerful foe and Green Hornet starts to understand the magnitude of their current problem.
This penultimate issue of the Green Hornet/Miss Fury series was packed with action and the right amount of exposition. Writers Alex Segura and Henry Barajas reveal Silver Shrike’s plans without being unnecessarily long-winded and the dialogue between Miss Fury and her opponent, and between Green Hornet and Kato is clean and nicely written. Artist Federico Sorressa and colorist Lesley Atlansky filled in the issue with lots of energy from the punches and kicks to the dramatic aftermath, and a very cool splash page near the end.
