The surprise of the encounter turns into story time and Jessica finally learns the important details about her life that have been kept secret.
Each issue of Grim by Stephanie Phillips has been building to this moment and it does not disappoint. The pieces fall into place, revealing Jessica’s missing history, the story of Death, and why Adira has kept the knowledge from her. Flaviano and Rico Renzi provide the art and colors, respectively, adding energy and frights to the fight scenes and backgrounds that give it a nightmare, or dream, quality.
