The 1,909 lots in Hake’s auction will open for bidding on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, and closes on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 14-15.
The historical/political material is led by a Martin Luther King Jr. signed Sunday sermon program from his final sermon on March 31, 1968, which could be his final autographed item. It is joined by a Fremont & Dayton 1856 campaign Spencerian folk art hand painted parade banner, measuring 57” x 77”.

The auction features over 400 CGC and CBCS-graded issues from the Golden to Modern Ages, led by a selection of signed books. Dating further back is the Cinderella production animation two-cel setup from the classic 1950 Disney movie.
The auction is loaded with key action figures from all the major lines of the 1970s and ‘80s. They include a rare carded Mego World’s Greatest Super-Heroes Iron Man AFA 75 (only example graded by AFA), and a Transformers Series 2 Jetfire AFA 90 with the trademark logo (making it rarer than the registered logo).
