Jennifer Blood is back, and the criminals who populate and run the town of Bountiful are certainly worried. Don Giallo has hired Giuletta Romeo to be the new town sheriff to track Jennifer. Giuletta makes deals with Judge Barrister for information on Jennifer and as the town celebrates the Fourth of July, Jennifer Blood has her own fireworks display in mind.

As can be expected, Jennifer Blood is brutal and wild. Fred Van Lente’s story is filled with vengeance and vindication, mobster movie wheeling and dealing, and some nice bait and switches. Artist Vincenzo Federici and colorist Dearbhla Kelly bring the comic to life with well done caricatures of the fat cats and the sexy female assassin.

It’s an engaging title that’s delivering wild moments and creating tension for some bigtime conflicts.
