Jennifer Blood wreaked havoc on the criminals of Bountiful, Utah and barely got out alive. She sought sanctuary at a secret clinic that specializes in healing injured criminals. The plus side is that it’s off the grid, or rather out of police radar. The down side is that Jennifer Blood is notorious in criminal circles and what better time to attack the Jennifer Blood than when she’s already injured?

The creative team of writer Fred Van Lente, artist Vincenzo Federici, and colorist Dearbhla Kelly open this new arc of Jennifer Blood with a bang – several actually, there’s a lot of bullets flying. Putting Jennifer Blood in a hospital filled with criminals is a wild, perfect idea for the vigilante who has no qualms about killing. It’s like a murderous game of hide and seek with some lowbrow humor thrown in for good measure.

Given how the issue ended, Jennifer Blood fans are in for another wild ride in this new arc.
