The Empire Comic Fest 6 is this weekend on Friday and Saturday, July 12-13, 2024. It will be held at the Louis S. Wolk JCC of Greater Rochester, located at 1200 Edgewood Avenue in Rochester, NY.
Comic creators appearing at the show include Al Milgrom (Marvel Fanfare), Keith Williams (Incredible Hulk), Fred Stresing (Rick & Morty), Meg Casey (Invader Zim), and others.
During the convention, the Jack Kirby Museum & Research Center President Tom Kraft and Dan Fogel of Hippy Comix will host the panel “Reflections of Comics from Undergrounds to the Mainstream.” Kraft and Fogel will tell stories about visionary comic creators from the Golden Age to today, including Jack Kirby. The panel is scheduled for Saturday from 2 PM to 2:45 PM.
Empire Comic Fest 6 will be open on Friday from 1 PM to 7 PM and Saturday from 10 AM to 5 PM.
General admission is free and the VIP ticket with early access is $20.
