The Lady Death and Shi hardcover editions of The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide #54 have sold out from Diamond Comic Distributors. Both covers, which match up to form one larger image, were illustrated by Shi creator Billy Tucci and colorist Wes Hartman.

The Shi hardcover is also sold out from Gemstone Publishing, while we have only limited single copies of the Lady Death hardcover remaining. The covers were created to commemorate the respective 30th anniversaries of both Brian Pulido’s Lady Death and Tucci’s Shi.

At this time, limited supplies of the soft covers for Lady Death and Shi are still available. Diamond also has copies of artist Aaron Lopresti’s Phantom Lady cover for the Big, Big edition in stock as of now.

Supplies are also low on artist Michael Wm. Kaluta’s Shadow cover in hardcover and soft cover, and on Dean Haspiel’s Golden Age Team-Up cover for the oversized edition, The Big, Big Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide #54.

“We’d like to thank everyone for their tremendous support of the Guide this year, particularly with their response to our covers celebrating two indie comics powerhouses, Lady Death and Shi. We have solid inventory on Kevin Eastman’s wonderful Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cover in both hardcover and soft cover, since we anticipated the demand for it, but the others are moving very briskly as well,” said J.C. Vaughn, President of Gemstone Publishing.

Inside its covers, this edition of The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide celebrates the 40th anniversary of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the 30th anniversaries of Lady Death and Shi, provides a broad overview of historic publisher Charlton Comics, and spotlights The Shadow. And, of course, it comes with new market reports, updated prices, and much more! The Bible of serious comic book collectors, dealers, and historians since it was first published in 1970. The Big, Big edition features only the pricing, including neither the articles nor the ads.
