You thought you knew the New 52 Lobo? Think again. Despite the fact that there was a new Lobo solo series just a couple of years ago, DC is bringing us a new iteration of the character (who was first introduced in the recent Justice League series) starring in his own series. For those who like action with a little extra blood on the side, this is worth a look.

The old Lobo is out of the picture just a few pages in; as it turns out, he was an imposter of the real thing. The new Lobo, who looks a little more like the character did in his earliest appearances in the 1980s, takes a job hunting down assassins before they reach their target. He’s got to kill eight of them in eight days. It’s the kind of job only a man like Lobo would take, and it starts what’s sure to be an action packed storyline.
