Marvel-DC Team-Up, Buzz Lightyear Game at Heritage

The Uncanny X-Men and New Teen Titans team-up, an Uncanny X-Men two-page splash, and a freshly graded Buzz Lightyear game are highlights in Heritage’s weekly auctions. The Comic Books Select Auction closes on Sunday through Tuesday, October 15-17, 2023, the Video Games Mini-Boss Auction concludes on Tuesday, October 17, and the Comic Art & Animation Auction ends on Wednesday, October 18.
The comic auction’s top selections are led by Fantastic Four #2 CGC 7.5, featuring just the second appearance of the team (who weren’t in their signature blue costumes yet) and the debut of the Skrulls. A cross-company matchup is showcased in Marvel and DC Present the Uncanny X-Men and the New Teen Titans #1 CGC 9.8, pitting the two teams against Darkseid and Dark Phoenix.
Carlos Pacheco’s The Uncanny Inhumans #13 splash pages 3-4 featuring Captain Marvel, Black Panther, Monica Rambeau, and the Ultimates confronting Medusa and the new Inhumans is showcased in the original art auction. Billy Tan, Danny Miki, and Allen Martinez’s The Uncanny X-Men #485 story page 3 shows Havok, Corsair, Ka’ardum, Lilandra, and Nightcrawler gathering on the Starjammer.
The video game auction features Buzz Lightyear of Star Command WATA 9.2 A sealed for Game Boy Color. This recently graded game is only the second copy graded by Wata and is now the highest graded on Wata’s pop report.
