Massive Publishing Names Blake Northcott as Editor-in-Chief

Massive Publishing and their imprint Whatnot Publishing have tapped writer-producer Blake Northcott as Massive’s new Editor-in-Chief.

Northcott worked with Whatnot on her novel, The North Valley Grimoire, which was Canada’s most funded novel on Kickstarter when the campaign ran in 2018. Two years later, she wrote the short story, The Omega Artifact, which is being developed as a film via Papa Octopus Productions.

“Blake’s commitment to the craft of storytelling, her passion for comics, and the amazing ability she has to connect with creators, is what made her the obvious choice to help lead the company into its next phase of expansion and innovation,” Massive Publishing CEO & Co-Publisher Michael Calero said.
